Suction vs Thrusting: Which Sensation to Pick
Xp Gear Suction vs Thrusting: Which Sensation to Pick
Two strokers can look identical and feel nothing alike. Usually it comes down to one thing: suction or thrusting.
Suction is pressure
A pulse or steady vacuum that grips and releases. Intense and focused, strongest at the tip. The XR4 Waterproof leans this way and adds rotation; the vacuum-style options push the pressure further.
Thrusting is motion
The device strokes up and down for a realistic rhythm along the full length. It is the easier one for pacing and edging, because you set the speed and the stroke – slow it down and stretch the session out. The XT5 Cannon King is a strong thrusting pick, and it does suction too.
You do not always have to choose
The better devices combine both. If you do want to pick one:
- Suction for intensity, pressure, and compact waterproof cleanup.
- Thrusting for a realistic stroke and full control over rhythm.
- Both if you cannot decide – a combo unit covers more moods, and your preference shifts night to night anyway.
Rotation and vibration sit on top of either as extra texture. Care is identical: warm water, mild fragrance-free soap, full air-dry, store in the pouch – and it all ships plain.
